Original ramen burger comes to Honolulu
KAKAAKO, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Both newcomers and fans of the popular hamburger sandwiched between two noodle buns will be in for a treat Wednesday when they get a limited-time chance to feast on the original ramen burger.
Keizo Shimamoto, the inventor of the ramen burger, arrived in Hawaii on Tuesday from New York to share his simple, yet innovative concept with islands. He will put together up to 700 burgers -- made of ground beef between layers of freshly cut ramen noodles glazed with shoyu -- to sell at Taste Table.
How long do you think it will be before McDonald's or Carl's Jr start making them here in American Samoa?
