39th Annual Math in Art Islandwide Competition with the theme: “Inspiring the Power of Mathematics through Engaging Artworks” opened yesterday at the Gov. H. Lee Auditorium under the supervision of the ASDOE-DCI  Math Division. The annual event runs through, Thursday, Jan. 18. Math in Art enables young people to use their imagination and creativity to create items or objects using mathematic concepts. [screen shot from video]
