Pictured here on her graduation day, is Anastasia Ioane, who graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on May 23, 2014 as 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Just 21 years old, she is the daughter of Maselino and Antonina Ioane.

Anastasia gave her “First Salute” to her older cousin, 30yr old Staff Sergeant Thomas Salina (L) also in the Marine Corps.
