The American Samoa National Olympic Committee (ASNOC) held their 2015 Pacific Games Kickoff yesterday morning at their main office located inside the Sports Complex at Veterans Memorial Stadium. American Samoa will be sending a total of 133 athletes (79 males and 54 females) from 12 different federations to the Pacific Games that will be taking place from July 4-18 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

American Samoa will be competing in the following sports:  Basketball (Male team 12 total/Female team 12 total), Bodybuilding (5 Male/5 Female), Boxing (5 Male/3 Female), Golf (4 Male/1 Female), Rugby 7’s (15 Male), Softball (Male team 10/ Female team 10), Swimming (2 Male/1 Female), Table Tennis (4 Male), Tennis (4 Male/ 4 Female), Beach Volleyball (2 Male/ 2 Female), Indoor Volleyball (Male team 10/Female team 10) and Weightlifting (6 Male/ 6 Female).
