At 5pm, Jan. 2, 2024, the 2024 new year’s first wedding ceremony took place at Leone joining Sia Singh and her fiancé Jason Allaway with pastor David Katina officiating. The garden ceremony held at the Fiamalua residence, the bride’s mother’s family home, was attended by relatives and close friends. Born and raised in Leone, Sia was very close to her maternal grandfather, the late Seuamuli Mataio Fiamalua, and she wanted to be married near his final resting place in front of the family home.
