DPS annual holiday enforcement

DPS officers urging people not to drink and drive

The Department of Public Safety's annual holiday enforcement is in full swing. The public is advised: If you must drink, don't drive. Intoxicated drivers will be arrested and criminally charged. Over the past week - and heading towards the New Year - officers have been stationed at the Laufou area in Nuuuli. The traveling public is reminded that police will be conducting roadblocks at undisclosed locations around the island over the next two weeks. Don't spend your holidays behind bars. Don't drink and drive. [photo: Blue Chen-Fruean]
