Scientists aboard the NOAA Ship Rainier have been busy this field season monitoring both coral and fish communities throughout the Pacific. Their work to map the seafloor, survey coral reefs, and collaborate with local partners in American Samoa will improve tsunami modeling and support the management and restoration of marine resources.
