Admin receives token of appreciation from MASI
Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Miss American Samoa Incorporation (MASI) President Simeafou Otemai-Imo, and the reigning Miss American Samoa Kauhani Fuimaono presented a Certificate of Appreciation for Governor Lemanu P. S. Mauga and Lt. Gov. Talauega E. V. Ale. Talauega was on hand to accept the certificate at the Governor’s Conference Room this past Monday.
“Thank you for visiting with us today. On behalf of Governor Lemanu, I accept this certificate,” Talauega said.
He continued, “Our sincere congratulations to Ms. Hani Fuimaono for a job well done during your reign, may your future endeavors be blessed and successful.”
Also in attendance were the four women competing in the twenty-ninth Miss American Samoa Pageant whom were given an opportunity to introduce themselves.
Talauega commended the women for their audacity to enter into the competition: “Thank you for sacrificing your daily lives to become an ambassador of American Samoa; I admire your courage and your willing spirit because it is not an easy feat.”
MASI has begun their week-long events and will host the Miss American Samoa Pageant on Friday evening, June 9, 2023.
