ASCC holds 80th Commencement Ceremony

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Governor Lemanu P. S. Mauga delivered special remarks during the ASCC Commencement Ceremony on Friday May 17, 2024, at the CCCAS Taeaoafua Gymnasium on the Kanana Fou campus. The governor congratulated the 79 graduates on their accomplishments. He praised their tireless efforts and hard work day and night, reminding them to thank their parents, instructors, and family for their support.

He urged the graduates to remember their home, saying, "Some of you will enter the workforce, and others will continue your education. Don't forget your home, culture, and family."

This year's guest speaker, Dr. Salote Aoelua-Fanene, focused her message on becoming extraordinary. She congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to push forward and continue striving for excellence.

In addition to the speeches, the ceremony featured musical performances by the graduates.

The event also honored those who achieved exceptional academic performance. Students with the highest Grade Point Averages were recognized for their dedication and hard work.
