Catholics plan online mass for Ukraine and Russia
Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Bishop Peter Brown, leader of the Diocese of Samoa Pago Pago, has extended a public invitation to the community to join the “Dedication of Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary” online Mass set 6.p.m today, Mar. 25 streamed live from the Holy Family Cathedral at Fatuoaiga.
“Together with our Holy Father Pope Francis, we invite you to join us to celebrate the Holy Father’s Consecration of the Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,” Bishop Brown said in the open public invitation distributed early this week.
“That through this intervention to God, the Queen of Peace may bring light to those who lead and comfort to those who suffer,” Bishop Brown said. “The Consecration prayer will be available online for us to read together. Please pray for those who suffer in the world especially the children.”
