The Foundation looks forward to witnessing the work first hand once each project utilizing the donated funds is completed.

In accepting the donation, Bishop Brown expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ms Olivia Reid and the Foundation for their generous and positive response to the Diocese’ request for help. He assured her of prayers for the continued success of the Reid family of businesses and wished her and the staff well in the new year.

Ms Reid said of the donation, “Our father had the foresight to establish the Lealaifuaneva Peter E. Reid Charitable Foundation in order to provide support to many worthy causes in our community when he was still with us, but also well beyond his time here on Earth with us.

“We're blessed to continue his legacy of philanthropy through financial support such as this for the Diocese of Samoa- Pago Pago. Witnessing the results of these grants is an absolute privilege.

“On behalf of our family and our father's foundation, we wish everyone a blessed and safe new year ahead."
