DoH releases COVID count as of Thursday and new village chart

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The COVID-19 Outbreak Situational Report, as of Mar. 31, shows total cumulative counts to date at 4,413 confirmed community cases, 7 deaths, 1,510 treated with therapeutics.

Additionally, data shows 1,194 individuals who previously tested positive have now recovered or have  completed their 14 days of isolation.

Furthermore, data suggest that 3,219 active cases have been recorded, according to the report, which also states that 199 new positive cases were recorded on Mar. 31st.  Of the new cases - 147 were report from DoH clinics and 52 at LBJ Medical Center.

Samoa News reported that Friday three more COVID-19 related deaths were recorded on Mar. 28. (See Samoa News edition Apr. 1 for details)
