Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Faipule Faimealelei Anthony Allen said lawmakers shouldn’t just criticize the administration when things go wrong or when they don’t get what they request.

He said that they should also praise and thank the government when it does good things.

The Aua faipule announced that two brand new ambulances, bought with funds from the Department of Commerce, were released by the Office of Procurement last week.

He said, this was a major accomplishment that should be celebrated because many of the ambulances now in use are old and should be retired.

He said that since the current administration took office, it has made improvements in the delivery of health services with the purchase of new ambulances.

This is the first administration to acquire new ambulances, said Faimealelei.

He added that the two new ambulances bring the total number of new ambulances that the Lemanu administration has delivered for the territory to five.

Faimealelei said it is fitting that the fono thanks and commends the Administration.

Faipule Lavea Fatulegaee Palepoi Mauga supported Faimealelei’s statement. He also said the Eastern District is still facing the problem of no EMS service to serve the people.
