Kanana Fou High School graduates 26 to “… Live the Life You’ve Imagined”
Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Twenty-six Stallions of Kanana Fou High School graduated on Thursday, June 10, 2021 during a commencement ceremony held at the Taeaoafua Gymnasium. KFHS is a private school run by the CCCAS and is located on the grounds of its Kanana Fou seminary. Its rich religious heritage is a part of its teaching foundation — “O le mata’u i le Atua O le amataga lea o le poto”.

Invocation and benediction were delivered by Rev. Elder Dr. Leanavaotaua Sekuini Seva’aetasi, CCCAS, Tula.
The theme of the class of 2021 was “Go Confidently in the Directions of Your Dreams, Live the Life You’ve Imagined.”
In his keynote speech, Lt. Gov. Talauega Eleasalo Ale pointed out that the 26 graduates must consider themselves the lucky ones, as last year’s graduating class missed out on experiences that are uniquely built for memories — such as the senior ball, senior week, and even a 3- hour commencement ceremony — due to the COVID-19 restrictions that were in place.
However, the Lt. governor noted that just because some of the things in life are “put on hold” — “our life and all good things do not have to be put on hold.”
“Despite the many adversities in life you have experienced or will later do, do not hold a lifelong endeavor to live out your dream,” he said.
No matter the changes, the Lt. Gov. said, “be passionate about your dreams no matter how many times you may fall short” — Live your dream, he said, “Live the life you have imagined.”
There were two KFHS Valedictorians and one Salutatorian. The co-Valedictorians are Alofamoni Marilynn Tuailemafua and Faamusami Danielle Sinisa. The Salutatorian is Ayjah Utumoeimoana Tafua Leo.

Speeches were delivered by the two Valedictorians.
Miss Tuailemafua spoke of KFHS school’s motto: “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom”. And how throughout her journey in high school she has learned that “Fear — is having reverence in God and Wisdom is making wise choices.” This has become the true epitome and embodiment of her faith in God, she said, as she comes to the end of her four years of high school. She thanked her parents, her spiritual parents, her fellow students, and “Father, God” — who “they can never live a day without.”
Miss Faamusami Danielle Sinisa, who was introduced by Miss Tuailemafua as ‘our Tongan princess’ and the kindest person she has ever met, delivered her remarks in Samoan. She also focused on the school’s motto, noting the wisdom she has gained from being on the path paved with the abiding love of God shown through the kindness, support and learning from the principal, teachers, and others. Sinisa thanked all who have helped, as well as guided her throughout her years at KFHS, including Father Kolio Etuale and her Ekalesia Katoliko of Aasu and her family and friends. Of her fellow graduates, and student body, Miss Sinisa loudly proclaimed: One Heart, One Soul, One Team!
