Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Strong winds up-ended KVZK TV’s tower on Mt. Alava and it collapsed on Wednesday night, Dec. 27.

This has impacted those relying solely on home antennas to receive KVKZ’s daily programs.

According to a news release from the Office of Public Information, this predicament does not affect the live-stream programs on KVKZ's You Tube Channel and Facebook.

Families and businesses with cable service through ASTCA or Bluesky will remain unaffected.

“KVKZ TV Management apologizes to our viewers for the inconvenience and interruption of services. We kindly ask for your patience as our team works diligently to resolve the issue and restore service to your homes,” the release said.
