Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Paramount Builders is proud to sponsor the 2023 Graduation season. On Thursday, May 26, Manumalo Academy’s 8^th grade class of 2023 held their commencement ceremony at the school.

The eighth grade graduation followed the protocol of high school commencement ceremonies, with each graduate “turning the tassel” as they received their diploma. The tassel tradition symbolizing their move from one stage of life or learning to another — in this case from intermediary to secondary.

After the commencement ceremony, many of the graduates gathered to congratulate each other and enjoy their achievement with ula, balloons and laughter.

It’s never too many ulas for a graduate — and of course big smiles & joy are all a part of celebrating their achievements in their young lives, with much more to come — God willing
