Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Samoa Baptist Academy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week to mark the installation of two new water fountains donated by Neil’s Ace Home Center. The fountains, donated and fully installed by Neil’s Ace Home Center, will provide students and staff with daily access to drinking water on campus. The donation was made prior to the Christmas break and included both equipment and labor.

SBA Principal Apomatagi Ruth Tuato’o expressed appreciation on behalf of the school, describing the contribution as both practical and meaningful.

“This is a gift that will serve our students every single day,” Tuato’o said. “We are deeply grateful to Neil’s Ace Home Center for their generosity and willingness to serve our school community.”

Installation was completed on campus by a team from Neil’s ACE including Tuione, Welner Tena, Leon Tena, Edward Abong, and Reynaldo Laranjo, with coordination support from Neil’s ACE’s Pueki Toofohe to ensure the project was completed smoothly.

The ceremony, held in the school cafeteria, included student participation, brief remarks from Mr. Tuione, and a prayer led by Pastor Sovea.

Neil’s ACE rep Lorraine Tuione performed the ribbon-cutting, officially opening the fountains. Principal Tuato’o then presented a plaque of appreciation to Neil’s Ace Home Center on behalf of the students and staff.

Tuato’o closed by referencing Proverbs 11:25, noting that the gift reflects the spirit of generosity and service that continues to shape and bless the school community.
