The Grants Clearinghouse developed MATA to provide a more efficient and standardized approach to grant management across the American Samoa Government.

The system is intended to support departments and agencies throughout the full grant lifecycle, including tracking active awards, coordinating new applications, maintaining required documentation, and supporting timely reporting departments and agencies are encouraged to prepare for the transition by reviewing internal grant procedures, identifying staff who will use the system, and participating in any training or onboarding activities issued by the Grants Clearinghouse prior to the October 1 launch.
