Three cruise ship visits scheduled for February — first one is today
Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — There will be three cruise ships that will visit the territory for the month of February.
The Visitor’s Bureau is calling on all interested cruise ship tour operators, retailers, food sellers and service industry providers to sign up and participate.
February arrival dates: Feb 4, 2023 - Island Princess (Saturday); Feb 7, 2023 - SS Mariner (Tuesday); Feb 12, 2023 - Amadea (Sunday)
The Island Princess is a Coral-class cruise ship for the Princess Cruise line. She is the sister ship to Coral Princess and together they are the only Panamax ships in Princess's fleet.
The Seven Seas Mariner is a cruise ship operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises. She was the first all-suite, all-balcony ship in the world, and was awarded "Ship of the Year" in 2002 by Ocean and Cruise News. Also, she was the first to offer dining by the famous Le Cordon Bleu of Paris in one of the onboard restaurants.
The third cruise ship, Amadea is owned by Amadea Shipping Company and operated under charter by the Germany-based Phoenix Reisen. She was originally built in 1991 by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan as MS Asuka for Nippon Yusen Kaisha.
