Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The American Samoa Government reported on Friday that since the start of community spread a total of 1,188 COVID cases have been detected in in the territory. fFom testing conducted Thursday on 790 individuals, 183 testED positive. Currently 135 people have recovered from COVID.
Of those testing positive on Thursday, two required hospitalizations. There are currently four patients in the LBJ COVID-19 The number of vaccinations on Thursday was 381 of which 343 were booster shots. 82.1% of the territory’s population is now fully vaccinated.
There will be a COVID-19 Vaccination Drive-Thru Clinic at the Fagatogo Marketplace from 8 AM-2 PM today, Saturday March 19. The entry point is at the fork in the road near the Sea Port entry gate.
