Master Sgt. Tevesi Fata retires

Tevesi Fata, of Avaio, American Samoa (center) recently retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sargent. Pictured here surrounded by his proud family, are his wife, Margie, his sons Trevir and Tyler, and daughters Miracle and Mariana.

 

Master Sgt. Fata was born and raised in American Samoa and now resides in Hinesville, Georgia.

Before retiring, Fata served over ten years in the Middle East. He has received numerous medals and commendations, including a Bronze Medal and medals for Meritorious Service.

 

His family of Avaio wishes him a happy retirement, and especially his sister Matea Fata Reed who said on Veteran’s Day, “Thank you for your service to our country, baby brother!”
