Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Amerika Samoa Humanities Council continues the year 2022 with its overarching program theme “Breaking Barriers for Success.”

As an island nation in the midst
of a global pandemic, we will look to humanities during these difficult times to
find lasting ways that will help improve the condition of human life. With social
and political disparity we strive to redirect and remind our people of our human ties, which threads us together. Breaking Barriers for Success aims to inspire hope and not fear and to enhance the meaning of life.

This would be an opportunity for your organization to help our community to prepare, prevent, and respond to how COVID-19 has impacted our lives. We are encouraging virtual project formats but also allow in-person activities not exceeding 100 people to ensure that we comply with COVID-19 restrictions while supporting the implementation of your humanities ideas.
