Dr. Mata'uitafa Faiai, met with Director of Health Dr. Saipale Fuimaono before departing for the Independent State of Samoa to begin her one-year postdoctoral fellowship program. Dr. Faiai recently earned her PhD in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health, where her research focused on obesity and cardiometabolic health risks among American Samoan adolescents.   [Facebook photo]
