Bernadette Alaisea Annie Sword, 2009 Leone High School Salutatorian, recently graduated with honors from Southern Utah University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition and a minor in Psychology.

Bernadette, who was recognized as a member of the Deans List, is the granddaughter of the late Seigafolava Leonard and Alaisea Tuitele-Yandall of Leone, and the late James and Annie Haleck-Sword of Pavaiai.

Bernadette is eternally grateful to the Lord, all her families, friends and ASG-DOE. She looks forward to serving the people of her beloved American Samoa. Pictured with Bernadette is some of her proud family.
