Undefeated Tahiti vs Undefeated Vanuatu today

Team American Samoa is still looking for its first win in the OFC Under-17 Soccer Championship, while Team Tahiti has not allowed a goal so far in this championship tournament, while scoring 27 goals for themselves.

 

Team Vanuatu has allowed only one goal, while scoring 24 times for themselves. In game two today, it will be the battle of the undefeated top two teams, as Tahiti will be facing Vanuatu at 3:30 p.m. at the Pago Pago Soccer Stadium.

 

Team Solomon Islands still has a chance at making it into the playoffs as one of the top two teams, even though they were downed by both Tahiti and Vanuatu in very close matches.

 

American Samoa, in their latest match-up this past Tuesday, was shut out by Tonga by a score of 2-0. The two goals by Tonga did not come until close to the end of the match and were at the 75 and 90 minute mark. With this loss, American Samoa is at the bottom of the standings and also has yet to score a goal. Team American Samoa will be playing the Solomon Islands today with a starting time of 1:00 p.m.

 

In Group A in Samoa, New Zealand defeated Cook Islands yesterday by a score of 6-0. With the win, they remain the only undefeated team in Group A with New Caledonia very close behind.
