Going to Vegas this summer? Check out poke choices and Samoan favorites
Las Vegas, NV — Imports from Samoa and Hawaii debut in Las Vegas this summer, bringing a wide selection of poke choices, plate lunches, and Samoan favorites.
Located inside a small strip mall within walking distance from Pokai Bay Beach, the 4-year-old Aloha Poke will be known as Opulicious Poke when it arrives at the southeast’s Windmill Lane Plaza later this summer.
Chef Nakamura Takashi is also close to debuting Hidaka Sushi on the eastern section of the plaza.
Featuring an outdoor patio facing Windmill Lane, Opulicious Poke’s owners have earned a loyal following for their ahi poke, ready to be customized with flavor choices such as Hawaiian-style, ginger shoyu, and spicy Cali.
Other dishes found include “dry aku candy,” ahi katsu, crab wonton, oxtail soup, plus coconut island bars for dessert.
Yum yum.
