It's Christmas Day in Samoa
It is about love for one another and humility.
That’s what Prime Minister Tuilaepa Dr. Sa’ilele Malielegaoi said in wishing Samoa and the rest of the world a Merry Christmas.
The Prime Minister said occasions like Christmas, which will be celebrated in Samoa tomorrow, are opportunities to sit back, reflect and appreciate God’s gift to mankind.
He added that such holidays are about families and spending time with people that matter the most.
Tuilaepa said the birth of Jesus Christ was a miracle.
“He left the heavens to come to this earth in human form. He was born in a manger, the ugliest and dirtiest place of them all. His birth place sends a strong message to all of us about the importance of staying humble,” he said.
“We should take the lead and follow his example to be humble."
