Faga’itua High School - 2022 Boys ASHSAA Volleyball Champions

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Last Friday afternoon, the Department Of Education’s Athletic Department hosted a special awards ceremony at their ofFIce in Tafuna, for this years 2022 ASHSAA Boys Volleyball Season.

Honoring this ceremony with her presence was DOE’s Assistant Director,  Netini Sene who encouraged the representatives of each school present that the journey to success is like a Rocky Road.

“Throughout all the challenges that you’ve faced this season, you’ve mannaged to overcome your challenges and you’ve made it this faR.  Now the journey ahead to the next level of where you want to be will be even more challenging, but those are the ups and downs that make it much more worth it,” she said during her encouragement to the boys.

Awarded and named Champions of this years season are the Faga’itua Vikings who defeated the Samoana Sharks in their nal match of the season that was held at the Nu’uuli Vocational Technical High School’s gymnasium last week. Second place are the Samoana Sharks.

Best Hitter – (7) SHS Payton Isaako

Best Defensive Player – (9) SHS George Tuiolemotu


Best Setter – Fatu Teofilo
