Honolulu, HAWAII — Our beautiful mother passed peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 at her home in Honolulu after a brief fight due to a stroke. She was surrounded by many of her family and loved ones who talked story and sang songs with her, even after she had passed with the Lord’s grace.

Vera Milovale Annesley was beloved as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend.

She leaves behind many who she mentored by example and love, as well as those she helped in many areas of life.

A family friend once said of Vera several decades ago, that she had lived a full and productive life and she had already established her legacy through her community service & being a successful business women and partner to a charismatic entrepreneur who died in 1981. They accomplished so many milestones during their lifetime of service to their community and family. She was 94 years old at her passing.

Mass will be held in Honolulu and in American Samoa. The family will publish dates and venues in the near future.

There will be no fa’aSamoa per wishes of Mrs. Annesley.
