Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Mrs. Vera Ho Ching Annesley, the owner and publisher of Samoa News, had her family memorial service yesterday at Fatu-o-aiga hall, followed by her Mass of Resurrection held at the Holy Family Cathedral, coadjutor Bishop Kolio Etuale presiding.

Her body was flown later in the afternoon to Samoa for cremation and a final family service, which included her Chinese family was held there.

She passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii on Nov. 5, 2022, peacefully — surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She was 94 years old when she passed.
