Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Batch #6 of tax refunds to be released today

Another batch of tax refund checks — batch #6 - is being released today, Friday, May 17th for those who filed Feb. 1- 2, said ASG Acting Treasurer, Tina Va’a in a brief statement late Wednesday afternoon.

Today's run totals over $1.36 million — with $521,307 for local and $845,910 for the Additional Child Tax Credit, which is funded by the US Internal Revenue Service.

To assist taxpayers with tracking refunds, Treasury reminds tax filers to keep in mind their filing dates, as refund checks are disbursed accordingly.
