Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — In a Mar. 22nd memo, the Governor’s chief of staff Tuimavave Tauapa’i Laupola reminded cabinet members of the Island Wide Clean-up today, Friday, Mar. 26th. And all departments, agencies, offices and authorities are expected to participate in this monthly cleanup, which is overseen by the Island Wide Clean-up Committee (IWCC), co chaired by the American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency and the American Samoa Power Authority.

“As always your full support of the IWCC is greatly appreciated. Your continued dedication and commitment to this initiative has helped improve the beauty of our natural environment and the quality of life of our people,” Tuimavave pointed out. “Let’s continue to work together to keep Amerika Samoa clean and beautiful.”

The IWCC was an initiative started at the outset of the Lolo Administration, with all ASG entities involved and Gov. Lemanu Peleti Palepoi Sialega Mauga has continued it as an important project.
