![With positive cases of the corona virus going up in July 2022, getting tested for COVID-19 before accessing services at the LBJ Hospital continued at the tents in front of the territory’s only hospital. The hospital kept the testings to minimize the spread of the disease and to provide care for those who tested positive. According to DOH data between July 4-10, there were 531 active COVID cases with the total cumulative cases for American Samoa at 7,143 and deaths at 32.
