Christmas cheer — Good anytime of the year!

For the 12th year, the Edmond chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America treated Army recruits from Fort Sill who weren't able to go home for the holidays to a day of food, fun and entertainment to celebrate the holiday season. They enjoyed made-to-order omelets for breakfast, sang Christmas carols at several spots in downtown Oklahoma City and the veterans’ center in Norman and visited the 45th Infantry Division Museum, among other activities.

Pictured are PVT Brown, Faipule and PVT Tanuvasa, Marilyn giving a card and visiting with one of the Veterans at the Veterans Center in Norman.

Pvt Brown is the eldest daughter of Simeni and Ana Brown of Vaitogi and Afono; and, Pvt Tanuvasa is the daughter of Pelesi and Simau of Vaitogi and Vailoa. Both are in Basic Training in Oklahoma, at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK.
