Great Lakes, ILLINOIS — Victorious Lotolelei Taliloa, who hails from Amanave and Vaitogi, graduated from Navy Boot Camp at the Navy Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois this past Friday, Nov. 4. 

She is the 3rd oldest daughter of  Rev. Jake and Mrs. Shirley Taliloa, previously of Amanave & Vaitogi and now at the Voice of Christ Full Gospel Church in Federal Way, Washington. Her grandparents are Ufuti Faafetai and the late Fa’alolo’i Ieremia.

In Boot Camp Taliloa was the Assistant Recruit Chief Petty Officer (AROC) for her division where she was in charge of calling the cadences to keep the division in step when marching. She will be attending her A School at Great Lakes, Illinois, where she will receive technical training in their selected military occupational specialty (MOS). She will be stationed in Bremerton, Washington.
