Melbourne, AUSTRALIA — ANZ this week announced the appointment of Clarke Schaumann as Country Head, American Territories, reporting to Tessa Price, Regional Executive for the Pacific.

Mr Schaumann will have regional responsibility for Guam and American Samoa.

Ms Price said: “I am pleased to welcome Clarke to the Pacific leadership team. He is passionate, results-driven and understands the dynamics of doing business in diverse settings.

Mr Schaumann’s banking career has spanned a number of markets, including China and Hong Kong and New Zealand, across both customer-facing and head office roles.

“Clarke is a catalyst for continuous improvement and I know he will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role,” said Ms Price.

“I also want to acknowledge our outgoing Country Head, John Wade. Since he took on the role seven years ago, John has developed strong relationships with the regulators and his commitment and focus has transformed the business.

“I know John will miss Guam as he seeks his next opportunity within ANZ,” said Ms Price.
