Guam delegate introduces legislation to give representation in the U.S. Senate to territories

Hagåtña, GUAM — KUAM News in Guam is reporting that before Congress adjourned for the holiday, Guam's congressman, Michael San Nicolas introduced H.R.5526.
According to Congress.gov H.R.5526 would provide a nonvoting delegate to the Senate to represent American Samoa, CNMI, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands, and for other purposes.
The text of the measure has not yet been posted.
H.R.5526 was co-sponsored by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton who represents the District of Columbia, and CNMI Delegate Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan.
