Apia, SAMOA — Police in Samoa have warned people not to post threatening statements after a man died following an alleged beating.
Civil engineer Jeremiah Malaki Tauili'ili was attacked on Saturday and died on Wednesday.
Police said no arrests had been made but investigations were continuing.
They said there had been a lot of speculation on social media and warned people not to take the law into their own hands.
Threats or damage to property were criminal offences, police said.
