![The American Samoa wrestling team that participated the 2025 Oceania Wrestling Championships that took place last week at the Gov. H. Rex Lee Auditorium in Utulei, with Beach Wrestling events staged along the shores of Sadie’s by the Sea. The tournament brought together elite athletes from across the Pacific. American Samoa topped with total medals won, including Gold — 16 Gold; 19 Silver; and 12 Bronze — for 47. New Zealand came in second with 22 total medals won — 10 Gold; 6 Silver; and 6 Bronze. ![Folole Tupuola, a Samoan diaspora performer and activist and the dancer for SUGA, performed at the opening of SA/MOA (sacred/centre) Exhibition.
